| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Mary Ellen Geninatti of Carlinville, who |
| 4 |
| passed away January 4, 2008; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born July 24, 1925, to Webster W. Bates |
| 6 |
| and Mary Dewey (Boyd) in Scottville; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, On February 17, 1946, she married Raymond C. |
| 8 |
| Geninatti in Carlinville; they were married for 58 years; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS,
Mary graduated from Carlinville High School with |
| 10 |
| the class of 1944; she was a member of Ss. Mary and Joseph |
| 11 |
| Catholic Church; and she was an avid bridge player and loved to |
| 12 |
| cook, travel, and spend time with her family; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; |
| 14 |
| her parents, Webster and Mary Bates; and her sister, Martha |
| 15 |
| Bates; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Ellen Geninatti is survived by her children, |
| 17 |
| Teena Kotchka (husband, Cliff), Janice Geninatti (companion, |
| 18 |
| Jack Toman), Cindy Geninatti, Richard Geninatti (wife, Karen), |
| 19 |
| and Lisa Love (husband, Roger); her eight grandchildren; and |
| 20 |
| her four great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
