| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Ron Putzell of Itasca, who passed away on |
| 4 |
| January 20, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He moved to Itasca in 1988 and was elected to the |
| 6 |
| Village Board in 1995; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, He served the Village of Itasca as chairman of the |
| 8 |
| Community Development Committee, the chairman of the Western |
| 9 |
| Access and O'Hare Noise Committee, the village liaison to the |
| 10 |
| DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference, and oversaw the |
| 11 |
| development, design, and construction of the Itasca Municipal |
| 12 |
| Complex; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, He also sat on the board of the Northern DuPage |
| 14 |
| Cable Television Agency (NORDCAT); he was the owner of Data |
| 15 |
| Cable Service, Incorporated, in Northlake; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, He was an avid golfer and a long-time member of |
| 17 |
| the Itasca Country Club; he was also a member of the Itasca |
| 18 |
| Lions Club and Saint Luke's Church; and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, Don Putzell is survived by his wife, Barbara; and |
| 20 |
| his daughter, Lara; therefore, be it
