| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
Kenneth L. Kantola of Waukegan, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on January 29, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Kenneth Kantola was born on November 24, 1939 in |
| 6 |
| Waukegan; he was a graduate of North Chicago High School's |
| 7 |
| class of 1957; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Kenneth Kantola was a U.S. Army veteran, serving |
| 9 |
| from 1963 to 1965; he was a past President of the Louisiana |
| 10 |
| Association of Accredited Travel Agencies and served as Vice |
| 11 |
| President of Sales for the Whittemore-Wright Company; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Kenneth Kantola was preceded in death by his wife, |
| 13 |
| Nancy; his brother, Richard; his parents, Carl and Mary |
| 14 |
| Kantola; and his sister-in-law, Jean Kantola; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Kenneth Kantola is survived by his brothers, |
| 16 |
| Charles (Evelyn), Ronald (Edith), and Robert (Patricia) |
| 17 |
| Kantola; his several nieces and nephews; and his special |
| 18 |
| friend, Peg Raasch; therefore, be it
