| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
James T. Williamson of Piasa, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on February 11, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, James Williamson was born on July 11, 1937; his |
| 6 |
| parents were Desmere Williamson and Margaret (Egan); and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, In 1972, James Williamson formed what is now the |
| 8 |
| law firm of Williamson, Webster, Falb, and Glisson of Alton; he |
| 9 |
| previously practiced law for many years in St. Louis, Madison, |
| 10 |
| and St. Clair Counties; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, James Williamson was an active member of the |
| 12 |
| Alton-Wood River and Madison County Bar Associations; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, James Williamson was an avid patron of opera and |
| 14 |
| the arts; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, James Williamson is survived by his daughter, Dr. |
| 16 |
| Heather Williamson, and her husband, James Quirk; his son, |
| 17 |
| Jimmy Williamson II; his grandchildren, Patrick and Caitlin |
| 18 |
| Quirk; his brother, Donald Williamson; and his former spouse, |
| 19 |
| Dr. Carolyn Franke; therefore, be it
