| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Norma R. Palmer, a 50 year resident of |
| 4 |
| Elmwood Park, who passed away on January 11, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was the loving wife of the late Jack Palmer; |
| 6 |
| dearest mother of James (Deborah), Jeffrey (Susan) and |
| 7 |
| Jacqueline DiStefano; beloved grandmother of Eric, |
| 8 |
| Christopher, Lauren Palmer, and Justin, April and Bobby |
| 9 |
| DiStefano, and the late James John Palmer; therefore, be it
|
| 10 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |
| 11 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 12 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Norma Palmer; and be it |
| 13 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |

| presented to the family of Norma Palmer as a symbol of our |
| 16 |
| sincere sympathy.
