| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Juanita E. "Nita" Pruitt of Carlinville, |
| 4 |
| who passed away on February 21, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on January 21, 1928, in Henryetta, |
| 6 |
| Oklahoma, to Frank Watkins and Elizabeth Moore Cameron; she |
| 7 |
| married Harold LaVern Pruitt on October 20, 1944 in Witchita, |
| 8 |
| Kansas; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She graduated from North High School in Witchita; |
| 10 |
| she was a homemaker; and she enjoyed collecting dolls and |
| 11 |
| Precious Moments; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; and her |
| 13 |
| brother, Robert Watkins; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Juanita Pruitt is survived by her husband, Harold; |
| 15 |
| her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Susan Pruitt; her |
| 16 |
| daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Jim Suter; her |
| 17 |
| grandchildren, Paul Rutter, Michelle (husband, Wayne) Johnson, |
| 18 |
| Harold (wife, Lynn) Pruitt, and David (wife, Karen) Pruitt; her |
| 19 |
| great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandchild; her sister |
| 20 |
| and brother-in-law, Helen and Larry Gulick; and several nieces |
| 21 |
| and nephews; therefore, be it
