| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
Glen Deffenbaugh of Carlinville, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on February 13, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Glen Deffenbaugh was born on January 10, 1930 in |
| 6 |
| Macoupin County; he was the son of John C. and Ester |
| 7 |
| Deffenbaugh; he married Joyce Stolte on October 21, 1985; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Glen Deffenbaugh was a Korean War veteran; he |
| 9 |
| worked as a farmer and owned a body shop until his retirement |
| 10 |
| in 1995; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Glen Deffenbaugh is survived by his wife; his sons |
| 12 |
| and daughter-in-law, Robert and Mel Deffenbaugh and Chris |
| 13 |
| Deffenbaugh; his daughters, Becky Hunt and Jude Jones; his |
| 14 |
| stepson, Kenny Jr. (wife, Janelle) Stolte; his stepdaughters, |
| 15 |
| Vickie Stolte-Mark, Karen (husband, Bill) Rives, and Susie |
| 16 |
| (husband, Jay) Stinnett; his granddaughter, Meghan |
| 17 |
| Deffenbaugh; his six step-grandchildren and eight |
| 18 |
| step-great-grandchildren; and his niece and nephew; therefore, |
| 19 |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
