| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Catherine A. Greene, nee Dumelle, of Des |
| 4 |
| Plaines, who recently passed away; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was the beloved wife of the late Walter; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, She was the dear mother of Catherine (Roger) |
| 7 |
| Byrne, Michael (Susan) Greene, and Karen (Joseph) Kozenczak; |
| 8 |
| the loving grandmother of Erin (Sean) McElroy, Patrick Byrne, |
| 9 |
| Michelle Greene, Christopher Greene, and Natalie Kozenczak; |
| 10 |
| the fond sister of Eva (Louis) Lischko and John (Joan) Dumelle; |
| 11 |
| the sister-in-law of Paul (the late Rosemarie) Greene; the |
| 12 |
| devoted aunt of many nieces and nephews; and a cherished friend |
| 13 |
| to many; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 16 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Catherine A. Greene; and |
| 17 |
| be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 |
| presented to the family of Catherine A. Greene as a symbol of |
| 20 |
| our sincere sympathy.
