| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Dale M. Morse of Elwood, who passed away |
| 4 |
| April 20, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was a member of the Joliet Moose; he was a |
| 6 |
| retired volunteer fire fighter for Elwood and a Fire Department |
| 7 |
| Trustee; and he served in the United States Navy; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He enjoyed snowmobiling and had a passion for all |
| 9 |
| facets of trains, including model trains and train trips; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion |
| 11 |
| and Evelyn Morse; his nephew, Danny Mahan; and his |
| 12 |
| brother-in-law, James Mahan; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Dale M. Morse is survived by his loving wife of 54 |
| 14 |
| years, Mary Ann (nee Grzenda); his dear daughter and devoted |
| 15 |
| son-in-law, Marlene (Dan) Murphy; his cherished grandsons, |
| 16 |
| Matthew and Kevin Murphy; his sister, Jeanne (James-deceased) |
| 17 |
| Mahan; his nephews, James (Kathy) Mahan and Thomas (Neda) |
| 18 |
| Mahan; his niece, Sharon (Brian) Luksic; his brothers-in-law, |
| 19 |
| John Grzenda and Norbert Grzenda; his numerous great-nieces and |
| 20 |
| nephews; his many loving cousins; and his devoted friends; |
