| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
Kerry Ann Benassi of Peoria, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on March 23, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Kerry Benassi was born on March 14, 1972 in Nampa, |
| 6 |
| Idaho; she married Alexander Benassi on September 8, 2002 in |
| 7 |
| Santorini, Greece; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Kerry Benassi loved to travel; she was a creative |
| 9 |
| and talented photographer and an accomplished yoga |
| 10 |
| practitioner; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Kerry Benassi is survived by her husband, |
| 12 |
| Alexander; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Patricia and |
| 13 |
| Lou Benassi; and her beloved cats, Li and Sammi; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Kerry Benassi will be remembered by all who knew |
| 15 |
| and loved her as a loving and kind person who cared deeply |
| 16 |
| about others and was thoughtful and generous to all; therefore, |
| 17 |
| be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |

| her family and friends, the passing of Kerry Ann Benassi; and |
