| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Senobia Collins of Chicago, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on April 16, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on February 16, 1924 to Mamie White |
| 6 |
| in Kenton, Tennessee, the second of four children; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, She was united in marriage to John Collins; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, John; |
| 9 |
| and her brother, Ed White; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Senobia Collins is survived by her daughter, |
| 11 |
| Eleanor Faye White; her sister, Izola White; her sister, Maggie |
| 12 |
| Skaggs; her nieces, nephews, a host of cousins, and special |
| 13 |
| friends, Larry Pruitt and Larry Richards; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 16 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Senobia Collins; and be |
| 17 |
| it further
