SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Patrick J. Corcoran Sr. of Waukegan, who 
4
passed away on May 10, 2009; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Patrick Corcoran Sr. was born on May 2, 1928 in 
6
Chicago; he married Julie Angoli on July 26, 1978; and

 
7
    WHEREAS, Patrick Corcoran Sr. was the owner and operator of 
8
Pat Corcoran Plumbing & Contractors in Waukegan until his 
9
retirement in 2003; and

 
10
    WHEREAS, Patrick Corcoran Sr. was a member of St. Dismas 
11
Church; and

 
12
    WHEREAS, Patrick Corcoran Sr. was preceded in death by his 
13
wife, Julie, and four children; and

 
14
    WHEREAS, Patrick Corcoran Sr. is survived by his children, 
15
Patricia Belec, Sharon Corcoran, Cathy Andrade, Denise 
16
Lawrance, Maureen Cullum, Patrick Corcoran Jr., Timothy 
17
Corcoran, Brian Corcoran, and Shawn Corcoran; his 25 
18
grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 
19
great-great-grandchildren; and his brother; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
2
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3
his family and friends, the passing of Patrick J. Corcoran Sr.; 
4
and be it further

 
5
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6
presented to the family of Patrick Corcoran Sr. as an 
7
expression of our sympathy.
