| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Philip J. "P.J." Rarick of Troy, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on May 25, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born October 26, 1965, in Belleville; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, He was a Madison County Deputy Chief Probation |
| 7 |
| Officer with many years of dedicated service; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He is survived and will be dearly missed by his |
| 9 |
| parents, retired Illinois Supreme Court Justice Philip J. and |
| 10 |
| Janet N. (Arnovitz) Rarick Sr.; his daughter, Katlyn Elizabeth |
| 11 |
| Rarick; his former wife, Mary Carolyn Rarick; his aunts and |
| 12 |
| uncles, Michael Rarick, Charles Rarick, Jane and Donald Alch, |
| 13 |
| and Eleanor and Thomas Shulman; and other extended family and |
| 14 |
| many dear friends; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |
| 16 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 17 |
| his family and friends, the passing of Philip "P.J." Rarick; |
| 18 |
| and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
