| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
Chuck Saponaro, who passed away on May |
| 4 |
| 21, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Chuck Saponaro was born on March 3, 1957 in |
| 6 |
| Cleveland, Ohio; he was the son of the late Charles S. Saponaro |
| 7 |
| and Loretta Saponaro; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Chuck Saponaro was very involved in his profession |
| 9 |
| and touched many lives in his real estate work; he was also |
| 10 |
| very active in his children's school and social activities, |
| 11 |
| including sports and coaching duties; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Chuck Saponaro was a civic leader in fundraising |
| 13 |
| and was respected and admired as a colleague and friend by |
| 14 |
| people in many walks of life throughout the Chicago area and |
| 15 |
| beyond; after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he |
| 16 |
| fought for the cause and willingly appeared during his illness |
| 17 |
| for a Pancreatic Cancer fundraiser walk; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, Chuck Saponaro was married to Jill Peet Saponaro; |
| 19 |
| he was the father of his loving children, Storm Anthony and |
| 20 |
| Jett Alexander Saponaro, and the dear brother of David and |
| 21 |
| Scott Saponaro and Lisa Stokes; and
|
