| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
Mary N. Griffith of Carlinville, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on July 6, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Griffith was born on August 29, 1933 in |
| 6 |
| Jerseyville; she was the daughter of James and Grace Hughes |
| 7 |
| Dolan; she married William E. Griffith on October 22, 1954; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Griffith was a graduate of Jerseyville High |
| 9 |
| School; she worked as an administrator at Friendship Home in |
| 10 |
| Carlinville for 12 years; she was a member of Ss. Mary and |
| 11 |
| Joseph Catholic Church; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Griffith was preceded in death by her |
| 13 |
| parents; her son, James Arthur Griffith; and her sister, |
| 14 |
| Margaret Ann Beane; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Griffith is survived by her husband; her |
| 16 |
| sons, Bill D. Griffith, Dave (wife, Jacque) Griffith and Mike |
| 17 |
| (wife, Julie) Griffith; her grandchildren, Kayla, Alissa, |
| 18 |
| Ryan, and Christian Griffith; her brother, James Dolan; and her |
| 19 |
| many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
