| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of
Marjorie A. Bailey of Columbia, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on July 14, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Margie Bailey was born on January 14, 1931 in East |
| 6 |
| St. Louis; her parents were Richard and Regina Powell; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Margie Bailey was a member of the Ancient Order of |
| 8 |
| Hibernians, the Ladies Knights of Columbus, and the Caseyville |
| 9 |
| Democratic Club; she was also a member of the Holy Trinity |
| 10 |
| Catholic Church in Fairview Heights; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Margie Bailey was preceded in death by her |
| 12 |
| husband, Donald J. Bailey; her daughter in infancy, Regina |
| 13 |
| Bailey; her son-in-law, Steve Kohlberg; her parents; her uncle |
| 14 |
| and aunt, Henry and Grace McStay; her sister, Betty Donovan; |
| 15 |
| her brother in infancy, Richard Powell; and her brothers-in-law |
| 16 |
| and sisters-in-law, William "Bud" Bailey, George (Joy) Bailey, |
| 17 |
| Robert Bailey, Al (Mary "Libby") Laskowski, Catherine "Sissy" |

| Lawson, Jack and Margaret Drennen, Bill Ring, Sorkis Webbe, |
