| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Peter B. "Jabo" Schwegel of Alton, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on August 15, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Peter B. "Jabo" Schwegel was born December 25, |
| 6 |
| 1938, in Alton, the son of Peter and Louise (Hesse) Schwegel;
|
| 7 |
| Peter was married to the former Margaret "Maggie" Stice on |
| 8 |
| February 4, 1961, in Alton; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He owned and operated State Street Tomboy for over |
| 10 |
| 20 years and had other business interests; he enjoyed trips to |
| 11 |
| Chicago with his grandchildren and watching the Cardinals and |
| 12 |
| Cubs baseball games; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Peter Schwegel is survived by his wife, Margaret; |
| 15 |
| his daughter, Sandy Schwegel; his sons, Peter J. Schwegel and |
| 16 |
| his wife, Tammy, and Mark E. Schwegel; his grandchildren, |
| 17 |
| Lauren and Logan Schwegel; his sisters and brothers-in-law, |
| 18 |
| Barbara Fallon, Carolyn and Terry Dooley, and Mary and Jim |
| 19 |
| Gillette; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Bud Schwegel, |
| 20 |
| Tom and Jeanie Schwegel, Jim and Sue Schwegel, John and |
| 21 |
| Margaret Schwegel, and Edward "Butch" and Carla Schwegel; |
