SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Kristen M. Kennedy of Chicago, formerly 
4
of Munster, Indiana, who passed away on September 11, 2009; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Kristen Kennedy was employed at David's Bridal in 
6
Chicago; and


 
7
    WHEREAS, Kristen Kennedy was the beloved new bride of 
8
Raymond Kennedy; the loving daughter of Ronald and Mary Ann 
9
Evans; the best friend and sister of Jennifer Evans; the loving 
10
doggie mom of Haley; the devoted granddaughter of Valerie (the 
11
late James) O'Donnell and John (the late Shirley) Evans; the 
12
daughter-in-law of Raymond and Christine Kennedy; the 
13
sister-in-law of Julie and Patrick Schuljak; the aunt of Sean 
14
and Connor; the niece of Donald Evans, Pamela (Sterling) Eaton, 
15
James (the late Noreen) Coppolillo, Aunt Judy, Uncle John, and 
16
Uncle Rick; the godmother of Maddie; and the loving cousin and 
17
friend of many; and

    WHEREAS, Kristen Kennedy's love of life and ability to live 
19
it to the fullest endeared her to her family members, friends, 
20
and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in 
21
ways they will never forget; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL

ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3
her family and friends, the passing of Kristen M. Kennedy; and 
4
be it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6
presented to the family of Kristen Kennedy as an expression of 
7
our sympathy.
