| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of
Mary Ann Ward, who passed away on |
| 4 |
| September 27, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Ann Ward was a member of the Will County Farm |
| 6 |
| Bureau Board and the Will County Farm Bureau Woman's Committee; |
| 7 |
| she was also a board member and volunteer at the Sunny Hill |
| 8 |
| Skilled Rehab Center and the Catholic Woman's League; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Ann Ward enjoyed spending time with her |
| 10 |
| children and grandchildren at her lake house; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Ann Ward was preceded in death by her parents |
| 12 |
| and her brother, Robert Clark; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Ann Ward is survived by her husband of 50 |
| 14 |
| years, Daniel R. Ward; her children, Jennifer Scharf, Daniel A. |
| 15 |
| Ward, Mary Susan (Tim) Slattery, Thomas (Kimberly) Ward, and |
| 16 |
| Anne (Jeff) Sieben; her grandchildren, Kathryn, Sara, and |
| 17 |
| Thomas Johns, Adam Scharf, Amanda and Ashley Ward, Erin, Danny, |
| 18 |
| and Quinn Slattery, Jacob and Rachel Ward, and Patrick and |
| 19 |
| Hallie Sieben; her sister, Nancy (Rich) McGrath; and her many |
| 20 |
| nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
