| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Casimer J. Siwula of Wadsworth, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on September 14, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on September 11, 1923 in North |
| 6 |
| Chicago; on July 16, 1949 in Waukegan, he married Eleanor |
| 7 |
| Anderson; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was a World War II United States Army veteran; |
| 9 |
| and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, He was an avid Bears, White Sox, and Blackhawks |
| 11 |
| fan; he was in the Carpenter's Union Local #250 and a life-long |
| 12 |
| member of St. Patrick's Church in Wadsworth; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, John and |
| 14 |
| Julia (nee, Taddle) Siwula; his three brothers, Matt, Chester, |
| 15 |
| and John Siwula; and his sister, Florence Siwula; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Casimer Siwula is survived by his loving wife of |
| 17 |
| 60 years, Eleanor Siwula; his children, James (Eileen) Siwula, |
| 18 |
| Joseph Siwula, Joyce Babitz, Randall (Julie) Siwula, Pamela |
| 19 |
| (Robert) Kiesgen, and Casey Siwula; his eighteen |
| 20 |
| grandchildren; his seven great grandchildren; and his many |
