SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Ted Dworzynski of Carlinville, who passed 
4
away on October 7, 2009; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Ted Dworzynski was born on November 27, 1931, in 
6
Staunton; he was the son of Ted and Clara Dubbeldee Dworzynski; 
7
he married Mary Ann Vesper on November 20, 1954, at St. Michael 
8
Church in Staunton; and
  
 
9
    WHEREAS, Ted Dworzynski was a graduate of Staunton High 
10
School; he served his country with pride and distinction as a 
11
member of the United States Navy during the Korean War; and
  
 
12
    WHEREAS, Ted Dworzynski was the owner and operator of 
13
Vesper Granite at the Prairie Lawn Memorial Garden for 38 
14
years; and
  
 
15
    WHEREAS, Ted Dworzynski was a member of the S.S. Mary and 
16
Joseph Church and the Guy Baird American Legion Post 554; and
  
 
17
    WHEREAS, Ted Dworzynski was preceded in death by his 
18
parents and his brother, Lawrence; and
 
19
    WHEREAS, Ted Dworzynski is survived by his wife, Mary Ann;

his sons, Mike (wife, Karen) Dworzynski and Steve (wife, Donna) 
2
Dworzynski; his daughters, Donna Wild and Paula (husband, 
3
Danny) Bultema; his 10 grandchildren; his sister, Darlene 
4
(husband, Walter) Renko; and his many nieces and nephews; 
5
therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
7
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with is 
8
family and friends, the passing of Ted Dworzynski; and be it 
9
further
  
 
10
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11
presented to the family of Ted Dworzynski as an expression of 
12
our sympathy.
