SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Wanda Caselli of Carlinville, who passed 
4
away on September 16, 2009; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Wanda Caselli was born on May 29, 1934, in 
6
Carlinville; she was the daughter of Paul Casper and Esther Mae 
7
Groves Brockmiller; she married Eugene Caselli on October 15, 
8
1955, in Carlinville; and
  
 
9
    WHEREAS, Wanda Caselli was employed in the business office 
10
at Blackburn College for several years; she had previously 
11
volunteered at the Macoupin Center for the Developmentally 
12
Disabled; and
  
 
13
    WHEREAS, Wanda Caselli was a member of the Carlinville 
14
Country Club Ladies Golf League and a lifelong member of the 
15
Macoupin Lake Club; she attended Ss. Mary and Joseph Catholic 
16
Church; and
  
 
17
    WHEREAS, Wanda Caselli was preceded in death by her 
18
parents; and
  
 
19
    WHEREAS, Wanda Caselli is survived by her husband, Eugene; 
20
her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Bill Supple; her

grandchildren, Ryan Supple, Erin Supple, and Ben Supple; her 
2
sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Sharp, Pauline and Edgar 
3
Greenwalt, and Shirley and Dale Stone; and her many nieces and 
4
nephews; and
 
5
    WHEREAS, Wanda Caselli will be remembered as a devoted 
6
wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, whose 
7
gentleness, kindness, and giving nature endeared her to 
8
whomever she met; therefore, be it
  
 
9
    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
10
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
11
her family and friends, the passing of Wanda Caselli; and be it 
12
further
  
 
13
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
14
presented to the family of Wanda Caselli as an expression of 
15
our sympathy.
