| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of
Stella M. Dey of Carlinville, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on September 21, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Stella Dey was born on February 1, 1924, in |
| 6 |
| Gillespie; she was the daughter of Ira and Stella Linton |
| 7 |
| Bethel; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Stella Dey began working in her father’s insurance |
| 9 |
| office as a secretary at age 15; during World War II, she was |
| 10 |
| employed in an airplane factory in Indiana; she then worked for |
| 11 |
| Prairie Farms Dairy for many years until her retirement in |
| 12 |
| 1987; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Stella Dey was preceded in death by her son, |
| 14 |
| Robert Duaine Sackett; her parents; and her 4 brothers; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Stella Dey is survived by her son and |
| 16 |
| daughters-in-law, Denis and Michelle Sackett and Donna |
| 17 |
| (husband, Jerry) Burnett; her daughter and son-in-law, Diana |
| 18 |
| and Greg Joiner; her grandchildren, Shawne Sackett, Kimberly |
| 19 |
| Sackett, Greg Joiner, Michael Joiner, Tracey Joiner, Andrea |
| 20 |
| Sackett, Sara Sackett, Eric Sackett, Cheryl Klaus, Howard Dunn, |
