| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
Mary Patricia Carroll, who passed away on |
| 4 |
| December 15, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Carroll was born on August 22, 1935; she |
| 6 |
| married her beloved husband, Roger, on September 7, 1957; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Carroll graduated from St. Bernard's School |
| 8 |
| of Nursing and St. Xavier College; she retired from the Cook |
| 9 |
| County Department of Health after many years of service; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Carroll was the beloved mother of Mike, Tim, |
| 11 |
| Colleen, Kelly, and Pattie, and the loving grandmother of |
| 12 |
| Bevin, Sean, Nora, Quinn, Maeve, Nick, Aidan, Erin, Katelyn, |
| 13 |
| and Courtney; therefore, be it
|
| 14 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |
| 15 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 16 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Mary Patricia Carroll; |
| 17 |
| and be it further
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 |
| presented to the family of Mary Carroll as an expression of our |
| 20 |
| sympathy.
