| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of
Shirley E. Fish of Joliet; and

| WHEREAS, Shirley Fish was a lifelong contributor to her |

| hometown community of Joliet through various charitable works |
| 6 |
| for the Joliet Jewish Congregation and the Holocaust Education |
| 7 |
| Program in area schools; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Shirley Fish was a voracious reader and a |
| 9 |
| passionate thinker; at the age of 82, she enrolled in a |
| 10 |
| doctoral program at the Spertus College of Judaica Studies; she |
| 11 |
| and her husband visited over 70 countries; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Shirley Fish was the beloved daughter of the late |
| 13 |
| Sophie Shaler; the sister of the late Martin Aronowitz; the |
| 14 |
| best friend and wife of Louis; the devoted and involved mother |
| 15 |
| of Raymond (Andi) Fish, Paul (Tessy) Fish, Elaine (Michael) |
| 16 |
| Janks, Ronald (Linda) Fish, and Deborah Hill; the adored |
| 17 |
| grandmother of Brad Fish, Lisa (Randall) Roddy, Ryan (Kim) |
| 18 |
| Smith, David (Dana) Fish, Isaac, Aarlo, Hugh, and Avery Stone |
| 19 |
| Fish, and Jacob Hill; and the loving great-grandmother of |
| 20 |
