SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Estelle Lillian Erickson of Lakeside, who 
4
passed away on January 18, 2010; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Estelle Erickson was born on August 4, 1917, in 
6
South Wilmington; she was the daughter of John W. and Anna 
7
Stacia (Baber) Middleton; she married John A. "Jack" Erickson 
8
on September 21, 1937; and
  
 
9
    WHEREAS, Estelle Erickson was employed as a jewelry 
10
assembler for the Island Magic Jewelry Company; and
  
 
11
    WHEREAS, Estelle Erickson was a member of the Trinity 
12
United Methodist Church and the Huldah Circle of the Church; 
13
and
  
 
14
    WHEREAS, Estelle Erickson was preceded in death by her 
15
husband; her parents; and her sister, Jo Helen Chipman; and
  
 
16
    WHEREAS, Estelle Erickson is survived by her daughter, 
17
Barbara (Ray Sutton) Erickson; her sons, James (Janice) and 
18
Richard (Janet) Erickson; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, 
19
Jonathan, Jami, Michelle, Matthew, and Kristen; her 14 
20
great-grandchildren; her brother, William "Bill" (Kaye)

Middleton; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
3
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
4
her family and friends, the passing of Estelle Lillian 
5
Erickson; and be it further
  
 
6
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7
presented to the family of Estelle Erickson as an expression of 
8
our sympathy.
