SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Rose M. Pullara of Joliet, who passed 
4
away on January 17, 2010; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Rose Pullara was born on June 21, 1920, in Joliet; 
6
her parents were Paul and Onofria "Sophie" (Panepinto) 
7
Trizzino; she married Peter Pullara on December 19, 1936; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, Rose Pullara was a lifelong resident of Joliet; 
9
she attended Washington Grade School and Joliet Central High 
10
School; and
  
 
11
    WHEREAS, Rose Pullara was employed as a cafeteria 
12
supervisor for 35 years in Joliet School District 204; she 
13
worked at Joliet Central from 1959 to 1964, Joliet East from 
14
1964 to 1983, and Joliet West from 1983 until her retirement in 
15
1993; and
  
 
16
    WHEREAS, Rose Pullara was a member of St. Anthony's CCW and 
17
Altar and Rosary; in 1998, she was named Woman of the Year at 
18
St. Anthony's Church; and
  
 
19
    WHEREAS, Rose Pullara was preceded in death by her parents; 
20
her sister, Mary; her brothers, Paul Trizzino and Eugene

Trizzino; her husband, Peter; her son, Peter J. Pullara; her 
2
grandson, Tanner; her granddaughter, Tara (Southcombe) 
3
Pullara; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernard and

Onofrey Pullara; her brother-in-law, John (Fran) Pullara; and 
5
her sister-in-law, Millie (the late Joseph) Korst; and
 
6
    WHEREAS, Rose Pullara is survived by her brother, Richard 
7
(Judy) Trizzino; her sons, Bernard Pullara and Paul (Cheryl) 
8
Pullara; her grandchildren, Laurie (Mitch) Ramsey, Michael 
9
(Diane) Pullara, Peter
(Jeanne) Pullara, Sally Pullara, David 
10
(Martine) Pullara, Steven (Mary Sue) Pullara, Bernard (Cindy) 
11
Pullara, Brian (Tasha) Pullara, Kevin (Kelly) Pullara, Joe 
12
(Lindsay) Pullara, Mark (Laura) Pullara, and Jason (the late 
13
Tara) Pullara; her great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jonathan, 
14
and Alexander Pullara, Alexis, Ariana, and Austin Pullara, 
15
Alyssa, Alayna, and Jacob Pullara, Steven, Luke, Josh, Ryan, 
16
and Morgan Pullara, Haley, Scot, Tanner, Madison, Bernard and 
17
Katerina Pullara, Nicole, Heaven, Starlene, and Brian Pullara, 
18
and Gianna and Matteo Pullara; and her several nieces and 
19
nephews; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
21
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
22
her  family and friends, the passing of Rose M. Pullara; and be 
23
