| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 |
| learn of the death of
Rose M. Pullara of Joliet, who passed |
4 |
| away on January 17, 2010; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Rose Pullara was born on June 21, 1920, in Joliet; |
6 |
| her parents were Paul and Onofria "Sophie" (Panepinto) |
7 |
| Trizzino; she married Peter Pullara on December 19, 1936; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Rose Pullara was a lifelong resident of Joliet; |
9 |
| she attended Washington Grade School and Joliet Central High |
10 |
| School; and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, Rose Pullara was employed as a cafeteria |
12 |
| supervisor for 35 years in Joliet School District 204; she |
13 |
| worked at Joliet Central from 1959 to 1964, Joliet East from |
14 |
| 1964 to 1983, and Joliet West from 1983 until her retirement in |
15 |
| 1993; and
|
16 |
| WHEREAS, Rose Pullara was a member of St. Anthony's CCW and |
17 |
| Altar and Rosary; in 1998, she was named Woman of the Year at |
18 |
| St. Anthony's Church; and
|
19 |
| WHEREAS, Rose Pullara was preceded in death by her parents; |
20 |
| her sister, Mary; her brothers, Paul Trizzino and Eugene |
