| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Anita M. Samuelson of Lake Villa, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on February 15, 2010; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born in Chicago on March 31, 1921, the |
| 6 |
| daughter of the late Claire and Otto Wegner; she had been a |
| 7 |
| resident of Lake Villa since 1951, moving there from Chicago; |
| 8 |
| and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary |
| 10 |
| of VFW Post 4308-Lake Villa; she was a proud grandmother and |
| 11 |
| great grandmother; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; |
| 13 |
| her grandson, Jason; and her sisters, Beatrice, Marie, Ruth, |
| 14 |
| and Myrtle; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Anita Samuelson is survived by her children, |
| 16 |
| Robert (Barbara) Samuelson, William Samuelson, and Barbara |
| 17 |
| Secketa; her grandchildren, Gail, Robin, Carrie, Kimberly, |
| 18 |
| Kathryn, Scott, and Nick; her 16 great-grandchildren; her |
| 19 |
| brother, William (Rose) Wegner; and her many, many nieces and |
| 20 |
| nephews; therefore, be it
