| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Dorothy Lynn Forehand of Rosewood |
| 4 |
| Heights, who passed away on February 22, 2010; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on June 25, 1951, in Alton, the |
| 6 |
| daughter of William T. "Bill" and Betty L. (Greenwood) |
| 7 |
| Broadway; she married Lawrence W. "Larry" Forehand on June 9, |
| 8 |
| 1973, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto; |
| 9 |
| and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, She worked as food service director at Alton |
| 11 |
| Memorial Hospital for 21 years; she was a member of St. Mary's |
| 12 |
| Catholic Church in Alton; she was a wonderful cook and baker |
| 13 |
| and enjoyed shopping, traveling, and attending sporting |
| 14 |
| events; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and |
| 15 |
| daughter; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Dorothy Forehand is survived by her husband, |
| 17 |
| Lawrence; her parents; her daughters and a son-in-law, Amy and |
| 18 |
| Andrew Weaver and Julie Forehand; her grandchildren, Katie Beth |
| 19 |
| Weaver and Jake Weaver; her brother and sister-in-law, David K. |
| 20 |
| and Gayla Broadway; her nephews, Keith and Kyle Broadway, |
| 21 |
| Anthony Ritz, Ryan Cooper, and Andrew Myer; her father and |
| 22 |
| mother-in-law, David Warren and Virginia Forehand; and her |
