| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Mycol Jermaine French of Zion, who passed |

| away on February 1, 2010; and
|

| WHEREAS, He was born July 13, 1980; he attended Zion Benton |
6 |
| High School; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, He loved to joke around; his pride was his |
8 |
| business "The Booth," a photography and music studio; he loved |
9 |
| technology, dogs, and spending time with his family; and
|
10 |
| WHEREAS, Mycol French was a blessed, young father of five |
11 |
| beautiful daughters, Ta'mya, Amyiah, twins; Zion and Ziara, and |
12 |
| My'Niyah; he is also survived by his mother, Germaine Nixon; |
13 |
| his father, Michael French; his three brothers, Brandon French, |
14 |
| Myron Browning, and Shawn French; his grandparents, Hattie and |
15 |
| Charles Nixon; his closest aunt, Dianna Patrick (Nigel); his |
16 |
| aunts, Theresa Carmichael (Bryan), Tabatha Puhr, Juanita, and |
17 |
| Darlene French; his uncles, Jerome (Myra), Charles Nixon, |
18 |
| Jeffrey (Cathy), and Paul (Rosetta) French; his 21 cousins; a |
19 |
| host of nieces and nephews; his special friends, Phaneesha |
20 |
| Jenkins, Demitirus Lindsey, Hector Perez, and John Allen; and |

| many other special friends; therefore, be it
