| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Peggie H. Castelli Castruita of Sun City, |
| 4 |
| Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2010; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on October 8, 1945, in Alton to |
| 6 |
| Harley Sparks and Virginia Douglas Sparks; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Peggie spent many years as a patient consultant |
| 8 |
| for Simmons Cooper Law Firm, working with cancer patients who |
| 9 |
| were suffering from mesothelioma; she loved spending time with |
| 10 |
| family and friends; and she loved the outdoors, music and |
| 11 |
| dancing; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, She had a compassionate heart and never met a |
| 13 |
| stranger; Peggie loved her life and always had a smile on her |
| 14 |
| face; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Peggie Castruita is survived by her husband, |
| 16 |
| Grabiel Castruita; her children, Matt and Tracy Castelli, Sean |
| 17 |
| Castruita and his wife, Leigh Neal Castruita, Michelle |
| 18 |
| Hernandez and son-in-law, Fred Hernandez, and Andrea |
| 19 |
| Castruita; her three grandchildren, Ava Castruita, Jacob Neal, |
| 20 |
| and Adam Neal; her brothers, Reggie and Douglas Sparks; and her |
| 21 |
| sisters-in-law, Gayle and Donna Sparks; therefore, be it
