SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Lucille Tate Tucker of Ewing, who passed 
4
away on April 19, 2010; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Lucille Tucker was born on September 13, 1921, in 
6
Benton; she was the daughter of Joseph and Sybil (Browning) 
7
Tate; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, Lucille Tucker served as a volunteer for many 
9
years at Franklin Hospital; and
  
 
10
    WHEREAS, Lucille Tucker was a member of the North Benton 
11
Baptist Church; and
  
 
12
    WHEREAS, Lucille Tucker was preceded in death by her 
13
parents; her first husband, Roy Tate; her brother; and her 2 
14
sisters; and
  
 
15
    WHEREAS, Lucille Tucker is survived by her husband, Earl 
16
Tucker; her son, Mike Tate and his wife, Jo; her grandchildren, 
17
Scott Tate and his wife, Kathy, and Shawn Tate and his wife, 
18
Missi; her great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Courtney, and 
19
Zackery; her stepchildren, Teresa Howard and Kevin Tucker; and 
20
her 3 step-grandchildren; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
2
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3
her family and friends, the passing of Lucille Tate Tucker; and 
4
be it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6
presented to the family of Lucille Tucker as an expression of 
7
our sympathy.
