| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Susan H. Kenar of Lake Bluff, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on April 24, 2010; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born July 18, 1944 in Waukegan, and |
| 6 |
| married Lawrence Kenar on November 21, 1964 at Holy Rosary |
| 7 |
| Church in North Chicago; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She was employed at Lake Forest College as |
| 9 |
| Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students, leaving in |
| 10 |
| 1999 after 18 years of service; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman |
| 12 |
| and Helen Lepke; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Susan Kenar is survived by her husband, Lawrence; |
| 14 |
| her son, Lawrence (Mary) Kenar; her three grandchildren, |
| 15 |
| Joseph, Mamie, and Lucas Kenar; and her brother, Carl (Julie) |
| 16 |
| Lepke; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |
| 18 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 19 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Susan H. Kenar; and be |
| 20 |
