| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
D. Chet McKee of Aurora; and
|
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, D. Chet McKee served as chairman of the |
| 5 |
| Rush-Copley Medical Center Board of Directors from 1986 to |
| 6 |
| 1990; he then served as president and CEO of Rush-Copley from |
| 7 |
| 1990 to 1999; as president, he oversaw the construction of a |
| 8 |
| new $67 million facility on Ogden Avenue in Aurora in the early |
| 9 |
| 1990s; following his service as president and CEO, he remained |
| 10 |
| with the hospital until his retirement in 2006; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, D. Chet McKee was a member of the Retired Old Men |
| 12 |
| Eating Out senior citizens group; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, D. Chet McKee is survived by his wife, Linda, and |
| 14 |
| his children, Megan, Mindy, and Matt; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, D. Chet McKee will be remembered by all who knew |
| 16 |
| and loved him as a kind and generous man who was always willing |
| 17 |
| to help out anyone in need; therefore, be it
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |
| 19 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 20 |
| his family and friends, the passing of D. Chet McKee; and be it |
