SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Arthur R. Sullivan III of Wellington, 
4Ohio, who passed away on May 29, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Arthur Sullivan III was born on May 11, 1944, in 
6Cleveland, Ohio; his parents were the late Arthur R. and Norma 
7C. (nee Dymond) Sullivan; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Arthur Sullivan III graduated from John Marshall 
9High School in Cleveland, Ohio in 1962; he moved to the 
10Wellington, Ohio area in 1982; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Arthur Sullivan III was a life long learner; he 
12was an avid reader and loved to talk about politics; he also 
13enjoyed Formula One racing, spending time in nature, spending 
14time with his dogs, traveling, and anything related to the 
15country of Turkey; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Arthur Sullivan III is preceded in death by a son, 
17Michael Brendon Sullivan; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Arthur Sullivan III is survived by his sisters, 
19Mary Catherine Bryk, Nora (Illinois State Senator David) 
20Koehler, Rae Anne Sullivan, and Theresa (David) Schramm; his

1brother, Daniel (Terri Meadows) Sullivan; his many nieces and 
2nephews; and his many great-nieces and nephews; therefore, be 
3it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6his family and friends, the passing of Arthur R. Sullivan III; 
7and be it further
  
  
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Arthur Sullivan III as an expression 
10of our sympathy.
