SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of William Dale "Bird" Sears of Zion, who 
4passed away on March 29, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William Dale "Bird" Sears was born February 3, 
61950, in Waukegan, and spent most of his life in North Chicago; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, He graduated from North Chicago High School in 
91968 and served one term with the United States Marines, 
10honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal; he worked most of his 
11life as a mechanic for various dealerships and shops; recently 
12he was an Operating Engineer for Hilton Hotel in Northbrook; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, He loved hunting, fishing, and camping; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, William 
16and Cordelia Dale; his sister; Rita; and his daughter, Heather; 
17and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, William Sears is survived by his wife, Lisa; his 
19daughters, Erica and Annie; his sons, Brendhan, Billy, and 
20Blaine (Danielle Mitchell); his precious granddaughters,

1Serenity and Kyleigh; his sisters, Diane Mitchell and Nancy 
2Moxey; his brothers, Charles and Sonny; and many nieces and 
3nephews; he will be greatly missed by his special friend, Butch 
4Miscichowski; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7his family and friends, the passing of William Sears; and be it 
8further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of William Sears as a symbol of our 
11sincere sympathy.
