SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ann T. Martin of Lake Forest, who passed 
4away on May 14, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born in Lake Forest at the Alice Home 
6Hospital on July 23, 1923; she was a graduate of Lake Forest 
7High School (Class of 1941); and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, She retired from food service at both the East & 
9West campuses of Lake Forest High School; she  helped raise her 
10grandchildren, she was an avid bingo player, and she was a 
11member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest and the 
12Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion in Lake Forest; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, She was the sister of the late Dorothy Espinosa; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS,  She was the wife of the late Earl Edward Martin, 
16Sr. (1981); the mother of Patricia (Robert) Petersen, Wendy 
17(Michael) Mc Kiernan, and the late Earl E. Jr. (Carol); she was 
18the grandmother of Earl III and Timothy Martin, Heather Flynn, 
19Brandon Konsler, and Peter and Nick McKiernan; and she was the 
20great grandmother of four granddaughters; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3her family and friends, the passing of Ann Martin; and be it 
4further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Ann Martin as a symbol of our 
7sincere sympathy.
