| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Marian M. Jehle of Joliet, who passed |
| 4 | | away on August 6, 2010; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, She was born September 3, 1931 in Joliet, the |
| 6 | | daughter of Dr. Joseph and Madeleine (nee Dailey) Duffy; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, She will be remembered as a beloved mother, |
| 8 | | grandmother, sister, and aunt, who spent a lifetime being kind |
| 9 | | to everyone she encountered, especially her family; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husbands, Mark |
| 11 | | Meers in 1971, and Stephen Jehle in 2005; her brother, Dr. John |
| 12 | | "Jack" Duffy; and her brothers-in-law, Eugene Fanning and |
| 13 | | William Smith; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Marian Jehle is survived by her children, |
| 15 | | Madeleine (Thomas) Dimitroff, Mary (Steve Jones) Snow, and Mark |
| 16 | | (Margie Stanfel) Meers; her four grandchildren, Laura (Lee) |
| 17 | | Thorpe, John, Elizabeth, and Catherine Dimitroff; her three |
| 18 | | stepchildren, Stephen Jehle, Jr., Mary Sue (Daniel) Softcheck, |
| 19 | | and Meg Jehle; her three sisters, Frances (late, Eugene) |
| 20 | | Fanning, Catherine (George) O'Leary, and Peggy (Thomas) Carey; |
| 21 | | her brother, Joseph (Sally) Duffy; her two sisters-in-law, Sara |
