| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Carole Ann Van Dahm of Hinsdale, who |
| 4 | | passed away on August 12, 2010; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Carole Van Dahm was born on November 30, 1940 in |
| 6 | | Hinsdale; she was the youngest of five children; she graduated |
| 7 | | from Downers Grove North High School in 1958, and became a |
| 8 | | licensed Realtor in Hinsdale and assistant manager at the |
| 9 | | Ronald McDonald House at Loyola; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Carole was active in CoACH Care Center (AKA Almost |
| 11 | | Home Kids, Inc.), co-founded by her daughter, Denise, and |
| 12 | | Victory Ranch, a Christian youth ranch founded by her daughter, |
| 13 | | Vicki; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and her |
| 15 | | brother, Louis Rosinski; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Carole Ann Van Dahm is survived by her siblings, |
| 17 | | Marylin (George) Andel, Jerry Rosinski, and Betty (Ken) Foster; |
| 18 | | her daughters, Vicki (Denny) Baum and Denise (Tim) Callarman; |
| 19 | | her son, Shawn (Carleen) Van Dahm; her ten grandchildren; her |
| 20 | | six great-grandchildren; her nieces, nephews, and other |
| 21 | | relatives; and her golden girls; therefore, be it
