SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Thomas Szostak of Lindenhurst, formerly 
4of Waukegan, who passed away on August 25, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Szostak was born in Waukegan on January 26, 
61958; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Thomas Szostak retired as a fireman with the City 
8of Waukegan on August 17, 2010, after 20 years of service and 
9was a member of the International Association of Firefighters 
10#473; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Thomas Szostak was preceded in death by his mother 
12Nancy as well as his grandparents; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Thomas Szostak is survived by his sons, Joseph 
14(Kristin Jorgensen) Szostak and Thomas Szostak; his parents, 
15George and Eva Szostak; his brothers, Bill (Debbie) Szostak, 
16Terry Szostak, Rick Stuck, and Ron Stuck; his former wives, 
17Maria Szostak and Holly Royce-Tiltges; his numerous aunts, 
18uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his special friend, 
19Penny Denos; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
2his family and friends, the passing of Thomas Szostak; and be

6sincere sympathy.
