SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Vivian Leona Chandler of Carlinville, who 
4passed away on September 20, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born May 3, 1923, in Pittsfield, the 
6daughter of the late William M. and Grace V. (Cox) Hall; she 
7married Morris Lee Chandler on June 8, 1945; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, She was a retired librarian and teacher; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, She was a member of Memorial Christian Church; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and her 
11husband; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Vivian Chandler is survived by her companion, 
13Erwin Walk; her son, Jerrold W. "Jerry" (Rita) Chandler; her 
14grandson, David C. (Rebecca) Chandler; her granddaughter, 
15Elizabeth Ann (Justin) Knoedler; her sister, Meredith Kosek; 
16her 2 nieces; her great-niece; and 3 great-nephews; therefore, 
17be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

1her family and friends, the passing of Vivian Chandler; and be 
2it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Vivian Chandler as a symbol of our
