| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of
Ruth M. Ozinga; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, Ruth Ozinga was the beloved wife of Martin Ozinga |
| 5 | | III for 40 years; she was the loving mother of Martin IV (Amy), |
| 6 | | Karl (Amber), Justin (Annie), Aaron (Amanda), Paul (Sarah), and |
| 7 | | Timothy (Amanda); the cherished grandmother of Martin V, Elyse, |
| 8 | | Jack, Ezra, Ayanna, Jude, Noah, Carmelee, Mikayla, Alivia, |
| 9 | | Sydney, Gwyneth, Gavin, Macey, and Ava; the dearest sister of |
| 10 | | Theodore (Niki) Gombis and Dr. Leon (Kathryn) Gombis; the dear |
| 11 | | sister-in-law of Ken (Judy) Ozinga and Beverly Ozinga; and the |
| 12 | | fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Ruth Ozinga will be remembered fondly by all who |
| 14 | | knew and loved her as a humble servant of her Lord and Savior, |
| 15 | | Jesus Christ, and as a woman who always placed the needs of |
| 16 | | others before her own; therefore, be it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 19 | | her family and friends, the passing of Ruth M. Ozinga; and be |
