2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of
Robert William Manner, who passed away on |
4 | | August 26, 2010; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Manner was born on July 3, 1948, in Joliet; |
6 | | he was a lifelong resident of Joliet; he graduated from Joliet |
7 | | West High School in 1966; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, Robert Manner was employed as a hair stylist in |
9 | | Joliet for 40 years and was the former owner of Mr. Robert's |
10 | | and Manner Magic; he was employed at Apropos and Brown and |
11 | | Brown at the time of his passing; and
|
12 | | WHEREAS, Robert Manner was a member of the Elk's Club; he |
13 | | enjoyed biking, gardening, and meeting people; and
|
14 | | WHEREAS, Robert Manner was preceded in death by his sister, |
15 | | Sue Manner Turk; his parents, Mary and William Manner; and his |
16 | | many aunts and uncles, including George H. Dwyer and R. Patrick |
17 | | Dwyer; and
|
18 | | WHEREAS, Robert Manner is survived by his loving wife and |
19 | | best friend of 35 years, Julie Woodruff Kitchell Manner; his |
20 | | devoted children, Kurt (Sharon) Kitchell, Glenn (Lora) |

11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |
12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
13 | | his family and friends, the passing of Robert William Manner; |

15 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
