SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Albert E. Jedda, who passed away on


4December 23, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Albert Jedda was born on May 21, 1927, in 
6Collinsville; he married Verna, nee Sudbring, Jedda on October 
72, 1949; and

  
 
8    WHEREAS, Albert Jedda served his country with pride and 
9distinction as a member of
the United States Navy from 1945 to 
101946; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Albert Jedda was the former president of Lathers 
12Local and was an associate at Schnucks Grocery in Collinsville; 
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Albert Jedda was preceded in death by his parents, 
15Martin and Mary, nee Ronco, Jedda; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Albert Jedda is survived by his wife; his 
17children, Ronald Jedda, Patricia (Wayne) Gillespie, and 
18Barbara (Huntley) McNab; his sister, Alberta Hoffman; his 
19grandchildren, Christine (Troy) Crowe, Aaron (Stacey) Jedda, 
20Chelle Gillespie, and Katie (Spencer) Koetting; his

1great-grandchildren, Camden, Peyton, Carter, and Allysa; his 
2nephews, Dennis and Michael Pluta; his niece, Melissa Pluta; 
3and his brother-in-law, Robert (Angie) Sudbring; therefore, be

5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7his family and friends, the passing of

Albert E. Jedda; and be 
8it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Albert Jedda as an expression of our 
11sympathy.
