SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Eileen F. Boehm of Carlinville, who
4passed away on December 3, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born May 21, 1924 in Carlinville, the
6daughter of Thomas and Ethel (Benny) Killam; she married John
7S. Boehm in Carlinville on February 15, 1944; and
 
8    WHEREAS, She graduated from Carlinville High School in
91943; she was a homemaker, farm wife, and mother; she enjoyed
10playing cards with friends, sewing, flower gardening, and she
11was a great cook; she was a member of the Carlinville United
12Methodist Church as well as Friendly Neighbors; and
 
13    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; her
14husband, John; and her sister, Norma Johnson; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Eileen Boehm is survived by her daughter, Alice
16Boehm; her son, John T. Boehm (Ann); her daughter, Coleen Flaar
17(Dave); her daughter, Beth Hammann (Ed); her son, Dennis Boehm;
18her son, Kurt Boehm (Sherri); her grandchildren, Kim Hurley,
19Jane Shanner, Stephanie Norwood, Neil Boehm, Eric Boehm, Shane
20Flaar, Michelle Carlson, Kelsey Flaar, Ed Hammann, Jeff
21Hammann, John Hammann, Quin Hammann, Erin Boehm, Jack Boehm,

1Laura Starr, Jered Boehm, and Whitney Boehm; her 16
2great-grandchildren; her brother, Ed Killam (Lorraine); her
3sister, Mary Loveless (Sam); and her brother-in-law, William A.

5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
7her family and friends, the passing of Eileen Boehm; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Eileen Boehm as a symbol of our
11sincere sympathy.
