SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Alice Joanne Rosentreter of Carlinville, 
4who passed away on December 11, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Alice Rosentreter was born on June 24, 1922 in 
6Hornsby; she was the daughter of William S. and Viola Lucille 
7(Mitchell) Boehm; she married Elmer A. Rosentreter on February 
818, 1941, in Carlinville; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Alice Rosentreter was a devoted homemaker; she was 
10also a member of Ss. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in 
11Carlinville; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Alice Rosentreter was preceded in death by her 
13husband; her grandson, Blake Rosentreter; her brothers, John S. 
14and Mitchell Boehm; and her sister, Viola Lee; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Alice Rosentreter is survived by her daughters and 
16their spouses, Doris and Dr. James Reid and Mary and Jim 
17Hammann; her sons and their spouses, Roger and Kristy 
18Rosentreter, Robert and Michelle Rosentreter, and Peter J. 
19"P.J." and Melanie Rosentreter; her 19 grandchildren; her 33 
20great-grandchildren; her sister, Lola Marx; and her many niece 
21and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3her family and friends, the passing of Alice Joanne 
4Rosentreter; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Alice Rosentreter as an expression 
7of our sympathy.
