SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Barbara A. Boente of Carlinville, who 
4passed away on December 13, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Barbara Boente was born on July 30, 1930, in 
6Carlinville; she was the daughter of John William Wheeler, Sr. 
7and Katherine A. Pressler; she married Edward L. Boente on 
8August 11, 1951, in Carlinville; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Barbara Boente was a devoted homemaker; she was a 
10member of Ss. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of 
11Columbus Auxillary, her church's Funeral Dinner Committee, and 
12the Chesterfield Community Club; she also was a member of the 
13Macoupin County Home Extension and was on a variety of 
14committees for the Macoupin County Fair Board; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Barbara Boente enjoyed participating in her 
16Tuesday morning ladies coffee group and the Friday morning 
17football breakfasts; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Barbara Boente is survived by her husband; her 
19sons and their spouses, Robert L. and Peggy Boente and James E. 
20and Linda Boente; her daughter and son-in-law, Becky J. and 
21Mark Donaldson; her 9 grandchildren; her 8

1great-grandchildren; and her several nieces and nephews; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5her family and friends, the passing of Barbara A. Boente; and 
6be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Barbara Boente as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
