SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Alessandro Cesare "Red" Perardi (Alex C.) 
4of Carlinville, who passed away on November 21, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born on, November 7, 1923 in Wilsonville, 
6the son of Luigi Guiseppe and Paolina Marie( Mollo) Perardi; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, He was self-employed in Carlinville for over 65 
9years in various businesses; he married Fern M. (Stiller) in 
10Carlinville on June 3, 1946; he graduated from Gillespie High 
11School in 1941; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, After graduation he joined the Army Air Force 
13Medic 101 Air Borne Division and served in World War II; he was 
14a member of Guy Baird American Legion Post #554, Elk's Lodge 
15#1412, and the Moose Club; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Alessandro Perardi is survived by his wife, Fern 
18M. Perardi; his daughters, Charlotte Elaine Westenberg (Alan) 
19and Gina Marie Loveless Bellm (Ray); his grandsons, Jacob Lee 
20and Joseph Lynn Loveless; his great-grandchildren, David

1Alexander and Kate Lee Loveless; his half-sister, Ann Marie 
2Spencer; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5his family and friends, the passing of Alessandro Perardi; and 
6be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Alessandro Perardi as a symbol of 
9our sincere sympathy.
