| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Curtis L. "Curt" Linne of Naperville; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, He was born July 26, 1929 in Danville; he grew up |
| 5 | | in Danville, was a graduate of Danville High School, and |
| 6 | | attended two years at Purdue University in West Lafayette, |
| 7 | | Indiana; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, He served in the United States Army's 101st 90mm |
| 9 | | Anti-Aircraft Gun Battalion during the Korean Campaign; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, He had a 42-year career in the cast metal |
| 11 | | industry, working with General Motors Cast Metal Division in |
| 12 | | Danville, the Chicago Foundry in Chicago, The Budd Company in |
| 13 | | Detroit, Michigan, and retiring in 1994 after 22 years of |
| 14 | | service with the Lester B. Knight Company in Chicago; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, He was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church |
| 16 | | in Naperville and was a 50-year member of the Illinois Masonic |
| 17 | | Lodge; he enjoyed gardening and was known as a talented |
| 18 | | handyman; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Curtis Linne was the beloved husband of Charline |
| 20 | | (nee Thomas) Linne, whom he married December 31, 1950; the |
