| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 30, AS AMENDED, with |
| 3 | | reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 3, on |
| 4 | | page 7, by replacing line 15 with the following: |
| 5 | | "condition. "Qualifying patient" does not include active |
| 6 | | public safety personnel. For the purposes of this Act, "active |
| 7 | | public safety personnel" means a person who is not off work due |
| 8 | | to a permanent or temporary disability and who is a |
| 9 | | non-retired: (1) law enforcement officer, (2) paramedic, (3) |
| 10 | | emergency medical technician, (4) firefighter, or (5) State or |
| 11 | | county correctional officer.".
